Goal
To consolidate efforts to address the multitude of challenges facing the Greater Horn of Africa in order to contribute to reconciliation and peaceful co-existence in the region in particular and in the continent in general.

Objectives

1. Understand the roots causes of violent conflict in the Greater Horn of Africa and find ways of reducing violence and promoting reconciliation in the region
2. Promote and coordinate the efforts of member organisations and partners to address the aforementioned challenges in the region;
3. Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with churches, peace and civic education organisations and other relevant institutions that share similar aims and objectives;
4. Facilitate the exchange of ideas and information related to the objectives and activities of the network;
5. Organise conferences, workshops, debates and dialogue as a means of education and stimulus to action;
6. Organise effective lobbying and advocacy nationally, regionally and internationally.
